Centrogen is affiliated with Specialist Weed Control and as such can offer a range of vegetation management services, with offices in Sydney (NSW), Dubbo (NSW), Brisbane (QLD), Brandon (QLD), Townsville (QLD), Cairns (QLD) and Darwin (Northern Territory). Objectives: Through its innovative weed management programs and utilising its patented wick wiping technology, Centrogen can help achieve the following: 1. Reduce incidence of high growing grass and weed species, 2. Reduce the cost of maintenance over time, and 3. Improve the visual standards of the asset. Centrogen has done much to reduce the volume of chemical mix that is being used to control vegetation along roadsides. The Weedbug technology is able to deliver Glyphosate herbicide in a height selective manner. This technology has been used successfully in high profile areas such as parks, playing fields and golf courses, and on road, rail and pasture areas. This technology has also been safely used in environmentally sensitive areas such as our World Heritage areas in Northern Queensland; its performance against a wide range of noxious species is also well documented.
